Musings Out There...

Some pictures from out there about Summit Stones found as far back as 2001.
These are from the ClubTread.com website, and what a great site it is. These people really know how to 'give back' through the service they provide on their site.
Lots of musing about these stones and what they have meant to their finders...

ClubTread.Com has a lot of truly interesting comments on these stones of yours. How long have you been doing this anyway? It is a very neat thing to do for someone you will likely never know.

I have looked at a number of posts on various sites that put up details about the summit stones. What an unusual yet special thing to be doing. I liked the comments on clubtread and the kayak forum. Those who have found one of your gifts have been surprised and have enjoyed them a lot. I also have enjoyed what you write about giving these and about giving back. I hike and climb myself and have volunteered with clubs to assist in worthwhile projects lately. Keep doing what you're doing as it has surely been well received.

I've also viewd posts on the CanoeKayak, MSNKayakingEveryWhere,
LiveTheVision,
MountainZone,
And other hiking and climbing mesage forums. You cover a lot of territory DSD! Myself, I've been involved in adventure racing and multisport forsven years now and it has changed my wholelife from a fat couch youknowwhat to an active outdoor lover. Your summitstone adventures has interested me for over three years now when I read some posts back in 2003. As each season goes by I search out if new posts are made and see whats been happening with the stones. Finding one myself wouldbe truly an adventureer's cool experience and would make my day. Finding this blog was allthe more special and I have bookmarked it and will keep coming back as it is that more cool and I will really enjoy all the other comments made as people talk about where they ahve gone and whata summitstone meant to them when they found one.
