So many wonderous shadows, even more subtle stories,
Tales of bold adventures, such efforts, and dreams.
Shadows of long journeys, high upon bare rock faces,
Dark images of knife ridges, exposed cliffs and high clouds,
Then there are those other shadows, of the whole mountain itself.
Now comes a simple calm slowing, therein an even quieter recognition,
Of the questing shadows of us wanderers, now a part of such elusive mountains.
So many wonderous shadows, now even more shared stories,
Such tales of bold memories, from our efforts, and dreams..... DSD
