"Legends Of Temple Lake..."

We first visited Temple Lake when scrambling on Little Temple mountain; an unofficially named peak below the face of Mount Temple, the 3rd highest summit in Banff. Most adventurers about here know of Mt. Temple; some also of Little Temple; few seem to have wandered to Temple Lake itself... Yet many have heard of the legends of this hidden wild place. In countless conversations with fellow seekers I often ask, as this is a place of real mystery and true wonder...
There is just something about that small body of water and its special location, tucked in as it is below the imposing rockface of its namesake mountain. The legends I have been told about, say that the waters discovered there are very special; that the unusual rocks surrounding it have images of many animals found in their shapes... It is a place where, even during a powerful storm, no wind intrudes upon its waters nor through those trees... The age of some of the trees is very, very old yet they are so definitely healthy... And beyond this small lake, nearer Mt. Temple itself, is something of such a real mystery, that it has to be seen for yourself... To actually be touched, to be believed at all.....
I so love such mystery...
I do so enjoy such wanderings as spending quiet time there with the ancient ones and the legends at Temple Lake.....

It looks very beautiful. The nice thing about such "legendary places," is that they are known only to a handful of people. They are more isolated and remote, and more wild.
